Summer – Hiking

Hiking in the Hohe Tauern National Park

The Gasthof Kröll in Niedernsill has been a licensed hiking operation of the hiking villages of Austria since 2014 and is therefore the ideal starting point for your hiking holiday in the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Whether leisurely hiking, challenging mountaineering or challenging climbing – the surroundings of Piesendorf-Niedernsill offers a variety of wonderful hiking areas with attractive hiking routes and hosted alpine pastures.

2x a week our guests are picked up for guided tours with hiking guide “Erwin” directly in front of the hotel with a hiking taxi and also brought back. And if time permits, our senior manager Armin also walks with the guests once a week.

The tours depend entirely on the nature of the group – are there children? or doesn’t anyone want to hike too long? or are there real mountain fexes who want to conquer peaks?
